St. Luke’s Episcopal School seeks to educate the whole child. All programs follow a developmentally age appropriate curriculum. St. Luke’s supports the theory that children learn best when they can control and act upon their environment. Many opportunities are available for seeing, touching, tasting, learning, moving, and self-expression. Children need hands-on activities and choices. A developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children integrates the child’s needs, interests, and abilities as it focuses on the whole child. St. Luke’s uses the A BEKA curriculum in addition to other supplemental material.
Each day, students visit the Learning Lab and study the following subject areas:
Gross Motor Skills
St. Luke’s Episcopal School is open Monday through Friday from 7:15 am to 6:00 pm. We follow the Lindale ISD school calendar for openings and closings, to include inclement weather.
We have 2 day, 3 day, and 5 day programs for ages 15 monthes – pre K with pick-up times at 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
After School Program
We also offer an afterschool program that buses the children to St. Luke’s for Kindergarten – 3rd graders.
St. Luke’s School offers weekly and monthly summer camps from June through August.
